As an artist, Eileen's synthesis of universal energy is transformed into space, color and form. This artist portfolio is a collection of watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, and printmaking documents the mind-body-spirit experience of her Expressionist process.
Eileen holds a degree in Pure Mathematics, which at first may seem peculiar, until one allows themselves to explore math's purity, depth & abstraction. Becoming aware of the natural occurrence of mathematical patterns, shapes, sequences & symmetries in the beauty that surrounds us, we will be awe struct by the harmony & proportion in nature.
Inspired by the quote of John Dewey, "Education is not preparation for life; Education is life itself" , Eileen has been a life long learner and Educator. Art has always been a passion and release, but wanting to inspire others, she has spent 20+ years teaching students to love the abstract beauty of mathematics and the arts, while encouraging them to also become lifelong seekers of knowledge.
